Potato gratin with meatballs



500 g ready-minced meat,

1 kg of potatoes,

200-300 g cherry tomatoes,

2 eggs,

1 large onion,

1 carrot,

3 cloves garlic,

3 tbsp. spoons of semolina,

5 tablespoons of mayonnaise,

1 teaspoon turmeric,

2 teaspoons mustard,

salt, pepper – to taste

a small bunch of dill,

vegetable oil.


Saute in vegetable oil, finely chopped onion, chopped garlic and grated on a medium grater carrots, all sprinkled with turmeric. Allow to cool a little.


Raw potatoes clean and grate. Combine with mayonnaise, mustard, eggs, semolina, salt, pepper, chopped herbs and stir. Add to potato mixture fried carrots, onions and garlic, mix everything thoroughly. Minced meat with wet hands shape the meatballs (meatballs).


Mass lay in a greased with vegetable oil form and level. On the surface, a little pushing, evenly spread meat balls and cherry tomatoes.


Put the form in preheated to 180° oven and bake until tender.
